There has been a lot of talk about this and I wanted to find out where people were thinking about getting a hotel.

At first I was considering getting one on the opposite side and just doing two 300k rides. But it sounds like several are thinking about doing like a 370-400+k then taking a bit of a nap and then finishing.

Also are there any plans for a room at the end to take a shower? Anyone want to bunk together or work on a sharing system?

There is at least one motel (Guest House Inn, 1-75 and SR 48, Bushnell, FL 33513 US) roughly the ~230-mile mark. This currently would mean a 1.5 mile detour.
However, if there is also a convenience store there, we could change the route to a control there rather than the current one in Bushnell.

The other option is the Holiday Inn, Clermont (@ rt. 27 & 50) at roughly the 280-mile mark.

Personally, I would prefer the cheapest option between 250 and 290 miles.

This is a tough call...

When I did the 600k loop ride last year I did approx 270 miles before sleeping... But I got back around 1AM because Bob got sick.

If I were on scedule then stopping at the 280 mile mark makes the most sense as I can get plenty of sleep and then knock out the last 95 miles no sweat.
